I'm a mobile DJ and I post my mixes on youtube so people can hear how I spin and pretty much promote/gain fans. It's extremely frustrating when record companies claim copyright infringement and my video gets blocked in every country lol. I mean if anything, they should be paying me to mix their stuff because people are asking me the names of the songs they heard and they want to download them! Anyways I'm with you man, these companies, though are here to make money will take away our culture.

@DeeJayRayGun Its crazy because I can see both sides of the argument. If I was making a lot of money in hollywood and I could be getting a nice sized chunk of money in addition to what I already get if my stuff wasn't put on the internet by others, I'd be a little bothered as well BUT I also understand the users point of view because not everyone uses content illegally (with the help of the fair use law) and these people still get messed with...it sucks

So, the government is trying to assume "Big Brother" control of the media under the guise of a piracy countermeasure. In truth, none can stop piracy, only change its form.

I blame corruption in the system. Before long, it mill be our news, our day-to-day lives will change dramatically!! Freedom of speech is being slain before our very eyes.

What are we to tell our children, when their creativity is illegal! When they see the mistakes we made in giving up, do you think they'll forgive us?!
