the blue is stupid because he had a sniper, in the snipers infrared scope the hologram flickers and blinks. Since this is a person not a hologram they would not flicker thus showing attention to detail could save your life.

The blue was a dumbass for three reasons:
1. Holograms flicker
2. Holograms DON'T show up on radar (Or as a grey triangle)
3. Aiming at a hologram does NOTHING to the reticle.
So, in a nutshell, he's a dumbass.
