6th of February, 2009.
It's been nearly two months since I got injured and because of that I've dropped
approximentaly 30 lbs on the bench.
If you ask me, that is alot, I mean, were not exactly talking about beans measured in grams!
During the entire healing process for my left shoulder, I wasnt allowed to bench heavy
and because of that I didn't gain any strength at all.
Today I tried whether if I could bench heavy or not.
These were my results of todays benchpress session:
220 lbs/100 kg 1x9 - Easy at the beginning but I did struggle in the end (PB 15 Rep)
242 lbs/110 kg 1x6 - Quite heavy (PB 8 Rep)
264 lbs/120 kg 1x3 - I wanted to do 4 but I was too much of a pussy :( (PB 5 Rep)
Anyway, I'll give it another two months, since I'm already prepering a new schedule, I shall
gain at least 33 lbs (15 kg) on the bench.
