GTA 4 Best mods/How to install mod

Explaining "HOW TO" install mods.
Showing mph or kmh speed of the cars, Firstperson, Realistic car handling, Trainer (cheats over 40+), Buy cars, More blood!, Change player, Ride along.

I will explain as much possible with the knowledge that I have how to install these.

These mods has been created for fun usage only and should be respected to their own perspective creators.
The game is fun on it's own, But to go further let's costumize it on our own taste.

Before we begin to mod, There is something you should know.
There are mods that exists to replace your orginal GTA 4 models (like cars) and there are also ones that is called script mods that allows you to run without replacing anything (like first person view).

HOW TO MAKE GTA4 COMPATIBLE WITH MODS:
1. Update your game to 1030 or 1040 so it wouldn't cause problems.
2. Download "xliveless 0.97b" at the moment, This is the easiest way.

3. Once you downloaded "xliveless" open it with an extractor (with winrar or something).
4. Move or copy "xlive.dll" to "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV"
5. And your ready to install the mods, Yes it's very very simple.

There is also an other way to do this, it's called "Livewrapper" or "Magic" or something.
But those are just harder to install.

Now HOW TO INSTALL SCRIPT MODS:
(I will use "Speedometer mod" for example)
1. Just download a script mod, easy one just search "SpeedometerIV v0.3a"

2. Open or extract it with an archive extractor (like winrar)
3. Copy or move "Scripthook.dll + SpeedoIV.asi" to GTA 4 root "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV"
4. Then copy or move the map "SpeedoIV" that is containing "config.ini + default map with Pin.png + Bck.png in it to GTA 4 root also "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV"
5. That's it, It should be working.

For other scripts, It's like above but easily said:
Just extract everything from the archive (.zip, .rar) to your GTA 4 root "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV"

HOW TO INSTALL (REPLACING) MODS:
1. Just download a car mod, there are plenty out there
2. Extract it and make sure you read the "Readme" inside
Here is two ways to go:
3a) IF the "Readme" says that you need to extract it to a GTA 4 map then do this and your ready! (BUT BACKUP FIRST!!)
3b) IF the "Readme" would say that you need "SparkIV tool" or something, Then download it and do it as it says.(Just extract/backup it before you mod it)

Those tools "SparkIV" or "OpenIV" makes it possible to open the files that are protected in GTA 4 and used to replace a car model (It can be used for more things).

@adamzoubi555 actually that is a lie all you need on console is a usb or transfer cable. you edit the files on a computer, burn it to a disk and activate your mods.

you have to have a modded disc to xbox 360 and you have to remove this magnet inside your 360 so you can see disc spin but mines dont spin cuz i removed it but you have to download the file to you hard drive by flashdrive the downside is that you always have to repeat this if you cannot download the file to the 360
