HOLLOW HEARTS PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS:

For this pattern you will need two colors.
Cut yourself four 65" (inch) long strands, two of each color.

For this tutorial I'll be using 1-white and 2-black.

Set the strings as follows: 2 1 2 1 (middle) 1 2 1 2

Which ever string is in the R1 and L1 positions will become the heart color.

(If you wanted to do white hearts on a black background
then the white strings would be in L1 and R1's positions)

ANY two colors can be used for this bracelet. Get creative!

____________________________________________

KNOTTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Using L1 make 3FK
then with R1 make 3BK
Join the middle

2.) Repeat step 1 once again.

3.) Using L2 make 1BK
With R2 make 1FK

4.) Pick up L2 and make 2FK
Then with R2 make 2BK
Join the middle

5.) With L2 make 1BK
Then with R2 make 1FK

6.) L2 make 2FK
R2 make 2BK
Join the middle

* Repeat from step 1 to achieve pattern

____________________________________________

**PROTIP** If your strings are getting too short improvise by making a BK/FK or FK/BK (depending on which direction your strings are heading) with the strand that is too short over the longer strand. When you cross over one of the same color you're working with It won't affect your pattern since they are identical- just swap their places and viola more string to work with!
