  • I intend to work 4 days a week instead of 5. I'd much rather spend less money and have a day off!

  • Hi there - thanks for your note and inspiring message too. Wishing you all the best with your downshift!

  • Thanks for the video, Tracy! it was very encouraging. I believe more and more people in the U.S. are aching to simplify and reduce our consumption. But our culture of abundance makes it hard to switch gears. Your video definitely illustrates the impact individuals can make on helping their own lives and that of their neighbors. Thanks again!

  • Hi Unsoughtmeat - I'm glad it helped your lightbulb flash! There has never been a stronger focus on the work life balance in my view, what with all the finalcial market hoo haa going on. People are realising the importance of the most amazing commodity of all - time.

    Good luck with your piece!

  • I have to write a report on work/life balance and I've been stumped, but your video has given me a kick start and have some direction because of this. Thank you :)

  • Cheers for the advice!

  • Hi Tracey,

That was a very quick reply! :-)

I am happy to hear from you. I do hope you will be able to impprove the sound quality. Ask for help. I was able to listen to

what you said, but if you want to reach out to more people who's English is not so good or to those who has problems concentrating -- maybe a tv set on in the background and kids screaming! THOSE can be the ones who needs to downshift, you know! ;-)

    Best,

Hans - the friendly viking in Stockholm, Sweden

  • Hi Maurice,

Thanks for your very kind compliments, glad you enjoyed it. Unfortuantely, the sound quality (and images) have been squashed to get on here and I cannot seem to improve them.

I hope you'll come back though, to have a look at the new ones I am about to upload to coincide with National Downshifting Week - they should be on by the end of February...!

    Cheers,

  • Very inspiring. Nicely put together. Excellent exaples. Easy to understand. Good length. But the soundquality is poor. Can you enhance the sound quality?...

  • Very, very good!! ~applause
