Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC Beta

Early on in the PC beta, some of us realized we could ram the Apache helicopters with our UAV's. The UAV's weighed a lot more than the choppers, so we could literally just ram them into the ground. Dice fixed the bug about a week into the beta, but I had already recorded myself getting a cheap kill. Notice the text chat at the end with the pilot saying "WTF." WTF indeed, my friend!

This has not been fixed in the retail game. You can still slam into helicopters with the uav and they will crash :)

@gamerqq When we were playing in the beta, all you had to do was touch a helicopter with a UAV and it would go flying. It's a million times better now than it was then ;)

You get into choppers and tanks by walking up to them and pressing E (on the PC version). For the UAVs, there are little computer terminals set up around the maps. Walk up to one of those and press E to fly a UAV.

I got a triple roadkill with the UAV 2 days ago. Saw one guy running in a straight line down a road so flew down and plowed through him. Then I got surprised when it said I roadkilled three guys with it. I guess he had 2 squadmates spawn at that exact moment.

That's so cool. I'm trying to compile a collection of vicious UAV kills right now to make a video in the near future. Keep it up! The UAV is underrated!

@skateandgame11 It's a Vehicle perk. I think it's called Vehicle Alt Fire or something. Set it up before you spawn. Try primary fire or secondary fire to use it.

@T2DMrBungle its not that, its just rather... that people are afraid of being knived or such. you're an open target and very able to be killed when you're at the UAV. especially conquest.
