The GT and Diamonback are entry-level cross country bikes. They are NOT meant for jumping, and you'll destroy those bikes if you keep riding them that way.

@zthumper021 I'm not sure I'm qualified to give you advice. Trail racing and jumping are two completely different types of riding, so I'd lean towards whatever you think you will do the most. I'm a racer myself.

@turbozonda Cleveland, Ohio. It's usually open to the public. This race was a rare event. This place is super-fun if you like mountain biking!
