  • Feel You Guys!!!

  • Mothers do not go out of their way to see about their childs education. How many of you have just taken a surprise visit to your childs school when neither the child nor the school was expecting it. Oh, I forgot, I'm sorry. You (mother) can't afford to take off from work but if, as you say, if that deadbeat father was around maybe you'd have the time to see about more of your childs needs but it was you who decided that you "didn't need him".

  • Black women tend to dislike anyone instructing them when it comes to their children. Try to tell a Black woman about her child. That is how the child gets over-protected and it hurts the child as well as other people because had that mother listened or had she shown that she was a mother willing to know from others about things her child had been involved in maybe that child would have stayed in school and that child would not be toting a gun around the neighborhood today.

  • Today's parent aka the single Mom,in alot of cases are too busy trying to their child's friends instead of being the damn parent.I know alot of brothas had sex with you that you offered in the first place and got you pregnant and then ran off like a thief in the night. When some of these fathers try to come back and right thier wrongs alot of you sistas won't let him and shame on your black ass.It take two parents to be actively in involved in the child's life .

  • @ Teshia (did i spell ur name right) please dont let techn deter u from parenthood. children r a blessing, yes its a challenge, but a reward "Lo' children are a heritage of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is His reward." Psalm 127:3 Remembr kids cant hav the techn if u dont give it 2 them, especially if u cant police or ovrsee. there r parental control options on all elec 2day. we use them like crazy. my son comes 2 me every 2 seconds 2 input our code wen using the laptop cuz of parent controls

  • Most of the stuff you guys are sayin is right but as a NY-er...lol, 9 is the startin age to start going to school by yourself! lol the MTA is pretty save so to say here but then again.. >,>/

  • We live in a under-protective generation/society of babies raising babies.

  • I agree with all the points. I can't add anything without being redundant. I don't have any yet but I hope their father and I provide the kind of support system that makes them comfortable enough to share their questions, concerns, and goals with. In other words; help them to help us.

  • today's parents sad to say are baby mama's still in high school with no true life experience so the child does not learn anything such as how to say please excuse me or thank you and the parent does not have the skills to teach right from wrong because of their young age yet they feel that having a child would make them feel grown up or important . Im 44 years old and doing a 9 to 5 there are times I would rather stay home and collect hotwheels cars but bills have to be paid enjoy your youth

  • you 3 give some of the most honest advice and i love the fact that ya'll don't have to always agree with one another but can actually be honest. i like that. when i get a question....i'm coming to find ya.
