dude i was never disagreeing with you. but one thing i do hate is organized religion ALL of it is stupid and just puts stresses on people that don't need to be there. We are all in wonder how we got here who knows if there is a god or not you can hope but until you die no one knows. we are all just speculating at this point

Also, you sound rather certain that God is just unknown, but how do you know that? I know that God exists & Jesus rose from the dead & I've got good reasons for it.

This man is not a bible reader. He also seems to have an obvious axe to grind and is difficult to watch. It is hardly honest to call a man a racist for pointing out the obvious differences in culture 200 years ago. its in the past. None of that is even true anymore, but at one time, it was. Do you not recall SLAVERY and how that degraded mankind? Do you deny that it degraded mankind?

@mormonanswerman: It's not the past if you've got a false prophet at the foundation of your church. The root of your church is corrupt. Young said that his words were scripture (Journal of Discourses 13:95). So either he's telling the truth & is a true prophet or the modern LDS Church is. A true prophet gives the voice of God, not of culture. If Young's a true prophet of God, then the modern LDS Church is in apostasy.

@thecommonbehavior: If the modern Salt Lake City branch of Mormonism disagrees with it's founding prophet, then that branch is in apostasy. If the modern branch is of God, then Young was in apostasy. That's the point. Obviously the SLC branch disagrees with Young.

Prophets are prophets for their times.Guidance comes from god for different times and situations.Tho the gospel never changes.Commands,instructions regarding diff situations will fit the times.

The OT testament prophets etc were commanded to slay men women And children anceiently.Do we disregard scripture from those prophets and from those times/periods?Nope.

Jonah got things wrong.Peter Denied the Saviour.Do we disregard Peters writings.Also! How can you account for Paul saying that the Kingdom of god is "Nigh at Hand" and "Cometh Quickly." He said that over 2000 yrs ago.Many more similar quotes given.Christ Himself also said He ..."would come quickly"... He ALSO said that 2000 plus yrs ago. Were still waiting.Seems Paul and even Christ got it wrong.

@greenghost2008 I went to an entirely white school district from 1st-8th grade and then I transferred to a over 90% African-American high school in a neighboring city and I can tell you quite honestly that I was treated nicer and far more welcome at that high school than I had since the 4th grade in that white school district. I'm white by the way.. a good ol' German, Irish, and English mutt.
