  • @damus1cmahn yes of course its a 7 string Bb :-)

  • that sounds awesome man i might have to grab one of those because of this video! If I may ask are you running a distortion pedal of any kind or is that straight into the amp? If that's straight in, I'm sold lol

  • I have the HT -60 and that thing is a fucking beast, it's a simple tube amp with a killler bite. I am upgrading to an Diezel Hagen or ENGL Sp Ed

  • @MrGautscho This amp just interested me... thanks man.

  • @willeng84 OK. I have that feature on the back of my Mesa Boogie Roadster Head. I had the Stage 100 Head and it sounded good, not as "High Gain" as my Mesa but I loved how you could change the Voicing on the channels. The Clean ch. could go from a Class A to a Class A/B which was nice. Their Series One Heads are supposed to be much better than the Venus Series. :-) I want that Marshall tone on my next amp so I'm getting a Splawn Quick Rod Head. It has that Modded Plexi,JCM800 & Modded 800 Tone.

  • @hawg427 I agree with you but solid state rectifier doesn't make it any less all tube. Many people with all tube designs opt for a solid state recifier plugin to keep it tight. I.E. Stevie Ray Vaughn and most amp builders. Just because it has a diode so what. You either like the compression or you don't Thats it. I am pretty sure there is a "Voicing" switch on the amp that turns the diode on and off. At least from the demo's I saw thats what I heard. Sounds Tubey on regular and pushed on Modern

  • Was sind denn ungefähr deine EQ-Einstellungen am Amp?

  • Well now, I just contacted Marshall, Blackstar & Mesa. The Marshall JCM800 has silicon diodes in it and is a TUBE amp. The Mesa Dual Rec has a Solid State rectifier in it and is a TUBE amp and Blackstar is a TUBE amp. What else would you like to be wrong at? Most amps either have silicon diodes or a solid state rectifier in it.

  • OK Mr. PHD of Electronics. Call or email Blackstar and then post the email on youtube, that should be pretty simple. Have a great day.

  • @hawg427 I own the amp too. The difference is, I KNOW the amp has clipping silicon diodes in it. IT IS NOT ALL TUBE! I don't care if you are too hardheaded to learn new things. I just don't like you spreading misinformation. And anyone that thinks that 2 pre amp 12AX7's can produce that kind of gain just flat out doesn't know how a tube amp works.

  • @Hendog2424 I don't know why you say I don't know or you already told me, told me what ? The only Digital part of the Blackstar Stage 100 is the Digital Reverb. Plus there are more than 4 tubes in the 100 watt amp head. Go to the website and look it up Brother :-)

I owned the amp. GodBless :-)

  • @hawg427 I told you what's up man... Why would you argue when you don't know?
