How can you do a video when the Puff Adders are behaving like...well Puff Adders? These two were not like I expected.

  • Mr Viper keeper I have tons of

eastern diamond backs in my property, they are so numerous I kill at least two each day I go, when i get there they are agressive they come right into the camp hissing and looking to bite someone there not your typical 4 foot one s you see on Discovery , they are as fat as your ms Semolia and 6 foot ! they seem to hang in pairs and dont like my being there and never rattle they just seem to wait for us to show ,, how safe are those 15 '' snake boots?

  • Nothing work 100% of the time

  • Hi Viperkeeper! How do you euthanize your snakes?

  • I use Co2

  • what other kinds of snakes do you have?

  • I am sorry Mr. Viperkeeper, but you made me nervous, and there was a bit of irony in that video. #1 - you keep puff adders (as in plural). #2 - that's a very confined area. #3 - you are handling puff adders (again plural) and trying to be a cameraman and commentator. I do not think it wise to 'multi-task' within reach of a puff adder. #4 - when you switched snakes, you left the cage door open. (Irony in 2nd post, orig. was over the limit.)

  • beautiful i love them

:) i want a snake but i prefer the more social ones ones that will love you :) but i love all snakes i think they are beautiful and amazing

  • @ viperkeeper, I am guessing you don't have many enemies ;)

  • I was given a few budgies that had really bad breeding. The mom looked good but passed really bad genes. I had three of her babies in the end and all three died. All had liver development problems. One had mental development problems, one had feather and other development problems and one had all around development problems and lived 9 weeks.

  • @bundywundy666 I found out they are not puff adders but everyone calls them that. they are hog nosed snakes that puff up and hiss. They are related to puff adders but are not venomous.

  • @CMink7777 no, we dont have puff adders in usa

  • @CMink7777 You could not be more wrong if you tried.

  • Ironiclywhat makes them so dangerous in the wild, makes them relativly safe to deal with indoors on a table. They tend to just sit and hiss and stay in defence mode.I presented one to a class for an instruction in animal husbandry of venomous snakes, just keep your hands out of strike range,360 degrees around its head.DO NOTattempt this with most big elapids, cobras, mambas, kraits, the same dosnt apply to these snakes.

  • We have Puff Adders all over Michigan and I don't think they are toxic at all. Is that correct?

  • i ran into a rattlesnake at my buddies house, his dad proceeded to shoot it:(

  • she's a beautiful snake. i hope she'll be okay.

  • @mojoganjamaster420 I drink myself, and no small amount; that is exactly why I most emphatically do *not* have hobbies such as these. I cannot imagine that puff adders and alcohol can be a good combination.

If one must do "stupid" things, at least do them in smart ways.
