  • Where can we hear/view the whole performance? I tried finding it on the link provided below the video but couldn't. I would reeeeaalllly appreciate the help and Im sure many more here would as well.

  • @powerofalto To be fair, that's true of every instrumentalist, for the most part. Everyone sounds different. I have some of her recordings and love her, she's amazing. My previous points still stand :P

  • The full performance was on Medici.tv--I was commenting more on that. Kashkashian's playing was spectacular. It's a shame that the performance is no longer accessible on the Medici.tv site. While I can't speak for all violists, I certainly have strong opinions about performers. The variability of sound from one violist to another is fascinating--Yuri Bashmet sounds completely different from Michael Tree, for example.
