  • Are they using current SAT scoring? Because 1500 is not that good of score lol

  • 1) using SAT scores to determine who gets admitted is the best way to ensure that your student body is composed of only middle and upper-muddle class students (see Peter Sacks' Tearing Down the Gates). SATs also say nothing about a student's critical thinking skills, just their ability to memorize facts and maintain the status quo.

    2) admitting more international students is a scam. they are getting ripped off and the school is reaping all the benefits. every college does this.
