I use 2 gen, just look ahead for the next piece of the edge, slow and smooth with no or minimal pauses is the key.

wow...how do you guys get sub 1:30?? do you just pause a lot less? (I find myself pausing for almost 20-30seconds while doing edge pairing :( ) and do you use 2gen or 6gen?
