it doesnt matter if you breed a hairless with a powder puff...it doesnt make a difference in what is going to come in the litter and how the different puppies will look. Also if you breed 2 chinese crested hairless you can still get the chinese crested powder puff in the litter

Which two did you keep? One more question. When you breed a hairless with a powderpuff, don't you get some puppies with tufts of hair growing in odd places? I know someone with a hairless puppy and she looked like that... must have been from a flawed breeder or something. I don't know though, I'm just curious as to the reason for certain hair patterns and breeding. :-)

I can't say why your friends dog is the way it is- I know I've never had that happen. Now I will tell you, the "hairless" variety does have randome body hair- but it's very thin & is usually shaved off for appearance sake. However, some folks just let them grow as nature intended as well. Just depends on the persons preferences.

They are fine & dandy. they are together with their Mom- but she has since been spayed- so no problems there. ;)
