Nice video !

Nothing comes close to owning a real NSW based model railway layout. Not even MSTS or Trainz. But they're the next best thing for now.

Please post up another vid when you get it sorted James, keep up the good work!

Thats fantastic!
I can understand your point, about it not being "good enough" - with my photography, it's never good enough for me. However, I think you've done an amazing thing there, it sounds awesome. I'm sute the fact that you're not 100% happy with it is because you're the creator. It's awesome dude, massive kudos and credit to you.
Fantastic work :D

Nicely done.

Nice video, nice layout. I enjoyed the sound even though it is not quite right. The Alco sound must be harder to get right, but the train operated smoothly.

@KaEFKen1 G'day Ken :) Thanks for the comments. The Loksound Alco 251 is a very difficult beast to get right (I am now up to v3 - shown in some of the other videos on my page - and I'm still not happy with it!) Hopefully one day someone will come up with another version that is a bit better 'balanced' between treble and bass for the small speakers in the model. The sound scheme may not be quite right, but the motor control of the loksound chip is excellent!

sounds nothing like an alco 251 i'm afraid.

I agree with you completely! Gary is now up to version 2, (which I will film and put up one of these days... ;o) V2 is better, but there is still a big problem with the transitions. Roll on v3!
