It's not just the driver's own life, when somebody drives around the gate, they put the safety of the engineer at risk. Plus anyone else who may be on the train. It's just so sad how in today's world people don't care about anybody or anything but themselves & don't have the patience to wait 2-3 minutes for a train. And there was a lawsuit against BNSF here in Minnesota after kids went around the down crossing gates. Guess who won?

What an idiot!! He crosses the gate at 0:39 and the train at 0:58. If the driver would have plowed through there about 19 seconds later, he would have been history. Good vid:)
