I was actually aware of Vermont street. When the tour guides say Lombard is the crookedest I like to scream "LIAR" at them. I used to live one block away from it on Greenwich. I had to move... I might be the only person (that I know of) that's ever gone up the crooked part of Lombard. (Lombard is one way, down hill, for those who don't know the area).
We rented one of the "painted ladies" there for a week about 10 years ago on Potrero Hill, just up the hill from Mariposa a couple of blocks. Beautiful neighborhood. I want to visit again sometime; it was a fun trip. We just wandered around and explored the city for hours on end.
I keep hearing you talking about rubbing your cajon and thinking, "Wow Steve - I've never heard you talk that filthy on MM before!" ;-)
Nice instrument you have there. Beautiful finish in the other video too.
Before the video started, I thought you had a router table in the works. The on off switch was connected to the spindle. You would turn a knob and the string attached to the spindle was also attached to the switch. Boy did I have that all wrong. LOL
Awesome! I've been wanting to build a cajon for a long time now. . . I even did a model of one in Sketchup but never got around to building it. Maybe I'll try and build yours after the video is done.

You ruined it, Steve. Now everyone knows about Vermont Street. Watch the traffic increase going down it now.
