Nice 'I pay road tax' bit. Haha.
He should make the most of being on that spot by raising awareness of so many cyclists killed by lorries etc in London. And the fact that the Cycling Highway is rubbish is not off road.

The old cyclists dont pay road tax argument, is rubbish, because he clearly does, but even if he did not own a car, the fact is that despite the road tax motorists are actually subsidised, because they dont pay for the congestion, pollution and death they cause.

I would pay a little tax for the roads if it would improve how motorists act towards me but i dont think that will change at all and also when i go onto the street im usualy faster than the cars and only use the street when theres nothing else to use ie: dirt path, concrete or even curbs wide enough for a tire haha

And he should have said that he pays road tax!
I was half expecting a massive cheer when he mentioned he that prefers 'he love bicycles' - where was that loud applause? Probably none because the audience are petrolheads.

Ritchie is big-time petrolhead - which is great, because a big-time petrolhead was here saying it's better to get around cities by bike!

Clarkson once said (on the Oneshow I think?) that he has no problem with cyclists, he used that big round thing to drive around them, LOL!
BTW if you could post a link to the Clarkson quote in the description box it would be cool. I know he doesnt like bikes but have never actually heard him say anything other than take the piss.

He and his wife bought Raleigh Pioneers years ago. Don't suppose he rides a bike much: Daily Mail would have a field day.
