I believe I was 16 at the time. I'm 18 now. At the time I didn't have the skill to write a song about it like Mr. Van Roy, so that was my way of expressing myself. My chest has healed and I'm not crazy anymore.
I am dating a different girl but it's mostly for the sex and I like her a lot, but I dunno If I'm feelin the whole love thing happening.

Anyway my chest has healed, my brain chemistry has leveled out and I've achieved happiness. Without drugs, because I'm awesome.

@tubeofyous how old are you??? if your below 30 then its sad because you will love again but have to explain why you have a name carved in your chest.... life is so much more then the current time frames it spans 50 to 80 years for most men.... think a bit further down the road next time

My girlfriend just got locked up in a mental hospital and her shrink brainwashed her into thinking I was a bad person, now she's completely shut me out and won't talk to me.
But I still love her and don't think I can love anyone else. I carved her name into my chest and now I hear this song and it perfectly describes my situation.
I love this song, and the best part about that is this song won't betray me.
