It seems like a lot of effort just to hunt a few rats. They could farm them more easily than chickens, I'm sure, but I guess one would want to make sure each animal is clean enough to be a food item, and that might be harder if you kept a ton of them.

not could a rat be a delicacy with a good cook but it is also a source of protein for these poor people. lt is just a stigma attached to them because they are historically regarded as pests which they are. what about Chinese eating cats and treating cat meat as a delicacy? i don't eat rats but perhaps if i was born in that part of the world i would probably eat them and so would u!
