is it possible that that loud clanging sound at start up is a magneto?

It's cold valve springs. They need time to get warm and soft.

So, it's due to the sudden rpm increase from the stalling rpm band to the idle rpm band...i thought of that in the first place, but i wasn't too sure! XD

What's that loud metallic sound @ 0:11 seconds?
I noticed almost every nascar engine do that when it starts up.
