This was the 1st single I ever bought with my pocket money.I was 11 years old and my folks bought me the album Cloud Nine that Christmas.I can remember on Christmas day my mum telling me that he was one of The Beatles and it went staright over my head.3 years later I was a Beatle fanatic and have been ever since.Good days!!

I wonder who talked George into doing this song? It isn't one of his compositions and George hadn't done covers in years when he recorded this one. But it turned out to be his first hits in many years too so someone clearly could tell a hit.

This track used to come on Radio 1 all the time when I was working in a sports shop in the 80s, my heart used to jump every time it came on....and the great thing is it still has the same effect now. A George classic!

@elfgirl3 actually it is not a George's song. It was written by Rudy Clark. George made this cover on 1987 and did send this underrated song to the success.

When I first heard this song it sounded so familiar to me years ago. Now i listen to it all the time...makes me want to dance even though I don't lol. I love the haunted house video of this song too. I could listen to this song all day and not get tired of it!
