When their debut album was released on RCA in 1987, give or take a year or so, Country radio wasn't sure what to do with them. It was a time of getting back to tradional sounds with the emergence of Randy Travis, Dwight Youkum and Hiway 101. I've always thought that kept them back a bit. You know, too pop sounding. Well, I was there. As one of the nations top country DJs and Music Directors, we played the shit out of Bailee and the Boys and Randy, Dwight, 101. Great talents, great times!

I have forgotten all about them. Great music and I still have old cassette tapes of their albums. 80s country was awesome!

What is it about "modern" country music... that just can't endure real quality. Kathie and crew are just about perfection in harmonies, instrumentation, arrangements, and production. What a class act! Wish they could do some more good stuff.
