Secret Smile is a drama serial in two parts shown by ITV in December 2005, based on the Nicci French book of the same name and starring David Tennant, Claire Goose and Kate Ashfield. When Miranda (Kate Ashfield) meets attractive and confident Brendan (David Tennant), a seemingly harmless fling ensues. But her attempt at breaking it off with him leads to a passionate web of lies, deception and death.

When he said "he should be here any minute" and the buzzer of her flat went my doorbell rang and jumped right outta my skin. Guess what? It was our electric man! I was thinking "Holy Shit what the HELL?"

oh my god. when people come in on you while you're in the bath, you do not go "hey, i'm in the bath, get out!" and then shut up. you go, "you've got ten seconds til i punch you in the face" and then, naked or not, you punch him in the face. the end.

@Sophz235 That is exactly what I had to to do. I finished the movie and I went straight to watching Doctor Who so I could get that characterization out of my mind. I also watched his interviews.

@bassetts1899 Best comment ever XD. I initially didn´t like Tennant as the Doctor, ´cause I really like Eccleston and Tennant gave me the creeps (I thought he was too... hyperactive :P). But right now I´m like naaah whatevu, I even kinda like him...But now I´m seeing this and my instinct is telling me not to forget XD
