I like how Poe wrote it. I also like how the main character (Poe I'd suppose) doubts himself, never to sure of what will happen.

In literature this is called "Dark Romaticism." This is a challenge I received: "Refer to three of Poes works to explain the sense in which his writing demonstrates Romantic tendencies, but a decidedly darker form of Romanticism than many other writers convey." I am writing it now. I will send you a copy of the compartive essay if you desire.
