Sheriff Deputy Kurt Wyman was killed in the line of duty responding to a domestic dispute in the Town of Augusta. He was only 24-years-old and leaves behind a pregnant wife and 18-month-old toddler. Officials say his wife is currently in labor at the hospital. The suspect, 41-year-old Christian Patterson was shot by 3 members of the Sheriff's Office and is in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica.
