That truck sounds really good. Now they need a throttle on the remote so you can do some revving. Lol. Im going to get one of these installed tomarrow. How do you like having it and how well does it work? Thanks!

I love it! with how cold it is here right now I always remotely start it to get the engine warm, I hate drving with a cold engine. Also, the keyless entry is another cool thing too since when I lock and unlock it blows the horn and flashes the lights and I have a module installed to roll my windows down with the remote too. Which one are u getting?

Its not the same one you have but its made by the same company. Its by Directed Electronics and its the model AS2775. Its from ABC warehouse and im getting it installed tomarrow and im trying to get some feedback to see how other people like having remote start. Thanks for the response. They are charging me $250 for the system and installation and I think I'll get my moneys worth after only one season. Im the same way, I hate driving with a cold engine when im rushed.

yah, I knew the majority of the remote start systems are by directed electronics cuz I used to work for Circuit City, still wish I worked there. What are the main features for the one your having installed?

I just wanted a reliable remote start to get me through the rest of the winter. I actually just talked to abc and they wont have em in stock till tuesday. Damn. lol

Doesn't sound like a bad system at all. That's like mine I just wanted a remote start and keyless entry, no alarm. Besides, I hate the alarms that come with them cuz no one pays attention to those. I just have a four button remote, something small to fit in my pocket.
