Being a professional gamer would be fun, but with fun comes commitment, determination and alot of fucking work that isn't fun at all. Practicing 15 hours + a day, traveling and figuring out all the bullshit. In my eyes it wouldn't be fun at all. Maybe if I was really ugly and had no social status I'd think about professional gaming.

First off this is a real profession, but seriously everyone should do what they love, some people would want to play a real instrument some people would rather play a fake one, why not just have fun in life, isn't that what it is all about?
