As legendary entertainer Pat Boone hands over the hosting duties to Rick Dees, Cheryl Ladd performs with Joe Guercio and his Orchestra in hour 7 of the 1982 National Easter Seal Telethon. Then three hours later host Bert Convey goes to the tote board as it rolls to $2 million! The National Easter Seal Telethon was a national telethon that benefited the National Easter Seal Society and aired in the United States from 1972-1997. I am a collector interested in classic telethon footage; for Easter Seals particually 1970s and early 80s. i love this video for a few reasons.

1. because it shows the old area codes of california from back in the day.

2. cheryl really sounds good, it just too bad that she never found a good back-up band to play with her. this song kinda sounds like one of "the go-gos" songs, "fading fast".
