Separate Ways: Someone Save Me; Chapter 16 Part 1

Riley's POV

"Hey Nick, you got my e-mail." I said.
"Yeah. I'm so happy for you!" he said, excited.
"For real?"
"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?" he asked confused.
"Well, I suppose I'll be travelling alot." I admitted.
"Ohh, nothing we can't handle right." he joked.

I'm so lucky he's been cool about all this.

"I start work next week. Just after Carson's birthday. I have fittings all over America, including New York. Maybe we could meet up?" I suggested.
"That would be awesome!"
"Great, so I'll speak to your later?"
"Sure. I'll call you tonight, or tomorrow for you I suppose. Time difference screws with your head." he laughed.
"Love you Nick." I said.
"Love you Riles."

Then he hung up. That went surprisingly well. Mom hadn't exactly cared about me leaving, she thought it was exciting and exotic. Hayley said she would miss me, but I knew great things were waiting for her. Carson has her band to keep her occupied and, as long as I'm not missing her birthday, she's dealing fine. I have a business meeting tomorrow to discuss which casting I will attend and when I will need to travel. After talking things through with Mr. Langdon I realised how amazing it was to have this oppertunity, and I couldn't turn it down.

"Riles? Wanna go for a last minute dance at the studio? We won't get chance in a while after you start travelling."
"Sure. Let me grab my stuff."

I collected together a few water bottles and an energy bar and my dance shoes, and met Hayley in the car smiling.

"Ready." I beamed.
"Talk to Nick?" she asked, starting the car.
"Yeah. He's really excited for me." I admitted, blushing slightly.
"Awesome. I'm gonna miss ya little sis." she said, fake crying.
"Stop that." I yelled, laughing.

We finished the journey chatting about my new career and all the designers I'd work for. I could hardly contain my excitement. When we arrived at the studio it was nearly empty and we booked our usual studio.

"Hip-Hop?" Hayley suggested.
"Totally."

We quickly warmed up, stretching out our muscles and breathing deeply. Then we got right into it. Throwing backflips, cartwheels and round-off's everywhere. We choreographed to Beyonce's Single Ladies which had an upbeat tempo, and we even added some fosse stylings. After we had finally worked through the entire song I was dripping with sweat.

"I think that's it for today." I breathed.
"Let's hit the showers."

I have some news....bad news.
I wanted to dedicate this chapter to anyone who feels they have being used or ditched by their friends. It totally sucks. Also....

My nan went into hospital, which is really wierd because I was with her today. My mom is at the hospital I think and it's like 11pm and I haven't been told anything! School tomorrow and I currently have no uniform! If I stay home I'll deffinetly write some for you guys! I had major writers block today, I had no idea the direction I wanted to go.

P.S: I got the JB calender today and ohh my goshh. Kevin's chest hair GAHH! lol

The song makes me feel sad. I totally understand the friend thing. That jerk... but I moved away cause my mom got a new job, so he won't bully me anymore, yay!
