One of the Nile crocodiles in the Zoo's Reptile and Amphibian House seems to be enjoying the simulated raindrops falling on its head and back.

The whole scene looked so peaceful even with all the visitor chatter in the background!

  • @BustersTexas Thanks for the explanation. It is a shame that responsible owners are being penalized by all the new laws and restrictions. I think zoos also are unnecessarily restricted at times.

  • @BustersTexas According to the keepers, and to the information on the Zoo's website, "The Zoo has two Nile crocodiles, one male and one female. Both were hatched in the wild in Africa. They arrived at the Zoo on July 25, 2003. " And all of the Philadelphia Zoo's animals get excellent care at all times.
