I love the sound of V8's but who doesnt?
-
not only is it one of the best sounding engines ever made, but that little 4.6 has plenty of muscle to back it up.

@hotdanman The crankshaft sensor is on the timing cover on the bottom left near the AC motor. Cam shaft sensor is on the cover as well. Right under the coils.
-
@guitarist41991 Endless piles of broken parts from those motors too.
-
hhhmmm clean engine, sounds good to
-
i wonder why do mostly all 4.6s makes that whining noise almost sounds as if it has a supercharger
-
where is the crankshaft sensor on that car ?
-
Sound like my old VIC. well before the supercharger.
DARN drunk drives.
totaled my car in my garage.

@dmspit its the same as a 1996 and up mustang motor so there are endless performance parts
-
@dmspit its the same size motor thats in the 1996 and up mustangs so there are endless performance parts for these motors.
-
anyone know of some bolt on performance parts for the 4.6 engine?
might sound better if you place it underneath the oil pan that way it doesn't have all the fan and belt noise.

Yeah, I thought of that, but I wanted the video to include the cooling fan. Next time I'm going to try placing the camera further from the fan.

@DanielJaegerFilms
hey what kinda oil do you use in that thing?
i've got a 4.6 Lincoln and i use 10W-30 but i found out it calls for 5W-30
so i was wondering what you use?

In the winter I use 5W-30, and in the spring summer and fall I use 10W-30. The reason is because the in the winter, lower viscosity oil makes cold starts easier than higher viscosity oil.
