@suddenh - Is that what you think story and character change is? A Hollywood development? Truth combined with spectacle via story is the benchmark of the greats... traffaut, Fellini, etc. Story has been around for thousands of years and is not specific to the mainsteam. My point was simply that this film is abundant in symbolism but lacking in other areas. It's annoying when people make an argument based on assumption and use hyper exaggeration to find a stance rather than their own insight.

Wow. At first I thought this was pretentious and weird, but I stuck with it and watched all the way to the end... That was one of the best ten minutes of film I have ever seen. I mean, wow. That was so well done - everything was, the music, camera, the dialogue is really good, and the emotion that you can gain from all of this easily beats out any film I have seen in the last few years.
