I love it...and never mind the rude comments. A good mom knows how to multi task especially in the kitchen.

@getbetterhealth I hear u loud and clear and what a fast reponse! All my kids were breast feed . As long as the plan is for him to start at 3..GREAT! I only drink tap in emergencies as down hear in south Florida tap is just treated waste water and that's how it is in many parts of the country now. Used to only drink distilled but according to doc spring is best. My favorites..Evian,Fiji, Penta, Smart Water, Acqua Panna,Perrier(lime). God gave me one body.4 the last15 years learning it. Peace

@superbm77 :) He just doesn't like water. I can get him to drink an ounce or two if I promise him milk afterwards--or if he doesn't drink anything all day long, then he'll drink a big glass full. We are working with his doctor on this and his other health issues, and the doctor agrees that rice milk (sweetened with stevia, not sugar) is the best solution for the time being. When he's older, I will be able to reason with him. But that's kind of hard at 3 years old. I'd love to not have to mk milk

@getbetterhealth Great video..but PLEASE I beg you to find out why your son won't drink H20. It could be all of the additives in tap. I love Rice dream Rice milk, West soy, Horizon organic. However our bodies were designed for H20. There is absolutley no way around not being able to develope full potential without pure water( and not just from fruits and others) Plus you will save lot's of medical bills in the future. Peace

@getbetterhealth Hi, thanks so much for replying. I'll try this method on a smaller quantity. We're looking into various nut milks atm but just practising on the cheaper grain versions. My brother is very fussy and I'm allergic to soya so it's a bit challenging! I'll get back to you and let you know how it went :D

@0shaden0 ... it would continue the cooking process. Try this method and see what happens to it after you reheat. You could make a small batch (1/4 cup rice in 2 cups water to make 1 quart of milk when it's finished)--that way if it doesn't turn out, you haven't lost much. But I suspect it will be fine.
May I omit the salt? I can't have salt due to abnormal blood pressure. :)

@FoodSheila I don't see why not. If you are used to no salt, it shouldn't be a problem.

Some of these comments are really rude. Any parent of a young child knows about multitasking with baby in hands. Shows that you are available to your child:) thanks for the vid

@scissorfairyful Thanks so much for the vote of confidence! If I hadn't held my son, I wouldn't have been able to make the video that day. And since it takes so long to cook, there is no way I could do both ends when he was napping. Glad you liked the video. :)
