Four of my favourite amp models from the VT30. Limited recording resources, (plus usual amateur presentation with some sloppy playing I'm afraid), but I hope it will give a good flavour of the amp. You really have to try the amp in person - it really is remarkably good considering it's price point. If you like the demo, and would like to hear some more amp models (with or without effects) let me know (P.S. - any weird volume drops is the camera auto-balancing volume - not the amp! - anything else weird ...well that's just me I'm afraid! lol BTW - I meant Peavey 6505 before anyone spots the fudge!)

  • Sounds great VOXMAN. I just got a Vox VT40+ valvetronics, I like it a lot. Can you suggest some good David Gilmour settings PLEASE? Thanks

  • @Madox21100 Congrats on the VT40+. Can't help re settings as I had to return my loan VT40+.

  • the famous voxman!

  • @VindicatorOfThey - Well, probably more like infamous! lol - but thanks for looking in & have a great Xmas!

  • Glad you like the vids. A modeling amp & a modeling FX unit are a bad match because amp modeling will conflict giving additional noise and a messy tone. The TLST should be used with a straight amp or direct through the PA. If you want more FX with your VT, either only use the TLST with amp & cab modeling turned OFF (ie effects only) or use a non-modeling MFX unit eg Boss ME20 etc.

  • why do you guys like this sparkly twangy thin sound? can't find a good sound demo of vox amps. all the demos sound just like this guy's demo. some are twangy, some are bluesy. get original people!

  • @atvrider41790 Depends on the type of music you like. I tend to play stuff I like which happens to be quite blues based. But you think the AC/DC/Led Zep tones are twangy & bluesy?? Surely not! I don't like really heavy metal/numetal so if you want those tones you need to watch other videos, sorry. Also, remember this is just a 1x10" practice amp not a 4x12". By all means do feel free to make your own vid & show us how its done - I'd be very happy to look in if you do!

  • @gamezrule44 Ha ha - at last fame has arrived - a request for Voxman's greatest hits! LOL OK,: Sweet Home Alabama (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Back in black (ACDC), Shook me all night long (ACDC), Rock 'n Roll (Led Zeppelin), Whole lot of love (Led Zeppelin), Saturday night's alright for fighting (Elton John). Everything else is either improvised or riffs from my own stuff.

  • @Voxman5 thanks your advice is really appreciated :) helpful as well! Thanks keep up the great videos. (sorry for the duplicate comment on your other vid) one last question what would be an alternative to the TLST? Im looking at the BOSS ME-25

  • I have this amp and was wondering if the Vox Tonelab ST would go good with it?

    Great VIDs :)

  • i have this amp as well as a vox ac30 and pre cbs fender reverb. i will say that this amp does a pretty darn good job of emulating the real tube sounds. this amp is great for practice and would make a good recording amp too in my opinion.

  • @Voxman5 yeah thats the problem. I need to watch other videos but they all sound the same. I don't entirely want nu metal but at least some high energy riffage if you know what I mean. Muse, old My Chemical Romance.. etc. These bands have many background influences and not even metal and they know how to pack a punch. I understand everyone is entitled to their own style and influences so my apologies on that if I sound too pushy and biased towards my taste, I was just frustrated about this
