Deaf 18 year old in ASL/PSE: WRITTEN TRANSCRIPT:
Hi. I'm here in Monterey Bay. Today we leave. Today is Easter. And we have no food so here's my breakfast. (shows m and m) m&ms! mmm good. The last five days I've been on vacation with my family and it's been really good.. really good for me to be with my family. And see the pacific. I'm thinking about easter one year ago. I was a very different person.
This last year has been amazing for me. So much change. So much change, seriously. I've watched myself go through some really hard times and one thing that has never changed the past one year - God. He never changes. That really encourages me. He's always the same. He's the same yesterday, today and future. I still struggle with seeing myself the way He sees me. But I know it will be a lifelong struggle and I'm willing to do that because He's so amazing! He's always there. Always there, center of my heart. I really feel overwhelmed with how much he really is there. I grew up thinking "No one sees me" and last week at bible study, I realized - God is really the one who sees everything - He sees everything He sees me. That's cool. :)
cool dude...

Thanks for the compliment. I can tell you're a great person, too. I have considered vegetarianism. In fact, I was brought up without being fed meat. Nearly half of my life was spent veggy and two of my family are still veggy. I may start by lowering my intake of meat gradually. Don't worry, I'm taking in what you are saying :)

No sweat. I know you don't have conviction in my word but i promise you flesh eating is the biggest accumulator of bad karma, energy, vibe. You'd do good to give it up even if u have no interest in God, it is good for ur material life. I saw a vid of yours, u r a soft hearted guy. I know you can be merciful xx

no need to devote yourself to god if u have no desire.
the soul is blissful in its natural state. conditioned by the body we live to satisfy the bodily urges. like a pig wants to eat its own shit rather than 5 michelin star meal. u can continue the bodily life and not try for liberation.
BUT. at least look into how the world operates on a subtle plane. that way u will avoid harsh consequences. for example meat eating humans are animals in slaughterhouses next lifetime. u can avoid that shit.

I see your point, but I'd rather stay naive until I'm 'burnt', ie. when it is scientifically demonstrated. Even then I may not 'worship' as such, I may admire god as I admire the universe and good people, etc.

Well, religion or god: I'm not interested. I'm very materialistic (in the philosophical sense) and, like I said, the closest thing I have ever come to 'believing' in is Buddhism; and I still don't really believe in the spiritual aspect of it.

Chaper 18 Verse 66 of the Gita. God says "abandon religion". God has never come down and told the world religions represent him, so don't link the two yeah? It's like linking the media and michael jackson. Big gap. safe x

Thanks, but I'm not really interesting in any god-belief. At a push, I'm a Buddhist. However, that's only to the extent that I meditate and follow the 5 precepts and some other cherry-picked practices.
Thanks for the civil response, I assumed the worst when I saw "GOD" in capitals on your page. Religious folk can get mighty angry when 'insulted'.
