Brothers and Sisters creative team Lisa Jelliffe and Kirsten Rutherford have teamed up with the anonymous German street art collective Mentalgassi, to create art installations for Amnesty International.
We've called the installations 'Making the invisible visible'. They highlight the case of Troy Davis, a man who has been on death row for 19 years in the USA, despite serious doubts about his conviction. The posters are displayed on fence railings. Front on, you see nothing but bars. Troy's face only becomes visible from an angle. Please help save Troy from being executed.

@monodnb
so most of the time a not taking action would have endet in enslavement for the opposition of these countries, the opposition which is willing to preserve human rights, i do not see a world in which amnysty international or any humanrights organization would say anything against war on leaderships which doesn''t preserve the human rights. your argument is straight irrelevant.

@jcruiksh1 We're not sure we agree. All but 2 non-police witnesses have recanted or contradicted their evidence, many stating they were coerced into giving the original statement by police.
One of the remaining 2 witnesses is the main alternative suspect, and a further 9 new witnesses have implicated this new suspect. There's no physical evidence linking Troy Davis to the case.
You can find out more at Amnesty USA's website - go there and search for "Troy Davis"

Troy Davis is a cop killer whose conviction has been upheld in several appellate court hearings spanning the last two decades. He's had his day in court. When will Mark McPhail, the cop Troy Davis murdered in the line of duty, get HIS? When will his family get closure? This man should never walk the streets of Savannah again. The McPhail family deserves justice.
