The conceptual prototype of the desc souvenir (toy). The levitated object hollow steel sphere is suspended in the point of unstable equilibrium between two permanent magnets. A drift of the sphere from the point of equilibrium is prevented by action of corrective electromagnet coil which strengthen/weaken the attractive forces of permanent magnets under the influence of feedback loop signal. To hang up the sphere in the operation point it takes some acquirements of manual adjustment or the special launching guide. NiCd accumulator battery (4.8V 0.25Ah) is used for power supply of the device. It is enough to keep the sphere levitating over 50 hours in quiescent state on a stable base. See more information on http://rcom.ru/magnet/
THERE IS SOMETHING FISHY HEAR . A GESTURE OF PRESSING A BUTTON TO REMOVE A CORK SPACER ? WHATS WITH THAT? THE SPHERE WAS ONLY TESTED FOR POSITION BY FINGER POCKING IT DOWN WHEN ON THE BASE, NO ATTEMPTS TO MOVE IT SIDE TO SIDE WERE MADE, WHY?

Once this was considered a big government navigation systems secret, for mathmatically locking on to true north. Now everyone is aware of its simplicity. Real antigravity will involve a device with either a focused repulse magnetic energy toward the Earths dynamic from any disdance, or, an actual energetic isolation of target mass from planetary mass density. Nice toy anyway. Thanks for sharing.

this would be amazing to have as your walls and ceiling cuz u would never lose ur keys haha just throw them into the air
unfortunately the powerful magnets would fuck with you haha

takes 3 electro magnets? two sides one bottom?

Really, I think you dunno any thing about magnets, You cant simply levitate magnets, its complicated you need somthing like pyrolytic graphite to do it

where did you get this toy how much it costs

Very nice! If you want to make your own -- take a look at my video. It works differently, but you can levitate anything small. I have kits for sale...

I imagine you use hall effect sensors for detecting the position of the ball? Do you use one or two hall sensors per side (two or fourin total)?
