  • I wonder if you directed me. I changed the lines a bit and ad libbed a few including my favorite of "Oh God were all gonna die! We made it funny. Two weeks after we did that video when I walked by they were still playing our video on the tv screens outside.

  • @jes61356 Sorry it took so long for me to respond. It's very possible I did direct you but I'd need to see the video you made. That was the most fun job I ever had. It was sad when it closed, but I saved the "Studio 6 Star Trek Adventure" sign and still have it today, including one of the uniforms!

  • This one is the best version on YouTube. Fabulous acting! :D ;)

  • Thanks!!! Unfortunately there were much funnier ones done by fellow employees but the footage is probably long gone by now. Sad.

  • Sorry, I don't. Those were on laser discs which were immediately confiscated after the last video was made, and sent back to Paramount.

  • If only you KNEW how many different takes on this I saw with my own eyes! You'd "lol" for years!

  • Wow! I totally need to get my old VHS converted to DVD so I can share my horrible early 90's mullet with the world. I was especially lucky the day I got mine as I was essentially solo (my grandparents weren't exactly up for it. lol) so the director (maybe you?) allowed me and the ONE other person in line (Also by herself) do the whole thing twice, with each of us taking turns playing the "Captain" and we both ended up with both version on tape.

  • Heres the link to our video we did. here on youtube.com/watch?v=KcOst3OQ_s4

Since then I've produced a horror feature film.which is also on youtube.com/watch?v=Y8coUA6Xopc

  • I've watched this several times, and cracked me up everytime

  • lol

  • It cost me $29 for a S-VHS Video Tape which at that time was the highest quality available. The costumes were pull overs that looked good from the front. .

  • Just curious, were those Monster Maroon costumes you were wearing jackets & turtlenecks with pins like the ones you can get from tailors nowadays, or were they one-piece shirts that looked like the filming costumes? I remember seeing a picture of a guy wearing one once, and saying that the costume was really a simple pullover.

Geek question aside, way to do a parody! I wish I had the chance to participate in this back in the day (I was a 4-year-old Trekkie) and your video totally made my day!

  • LOL!
