@rarityunknown You tell 'em rarityunknown! I never get witht this pattern of every new companion getting introduced everytime we watch a new season. Yes, Pokemon has definitely improve over the years and has made the classic episodes, per say, outdated compare of how the style and animation has evolve from Kanto to Unova. Seriously, I too get rubbed out of missing the original seasons (always will) but I have better things to see more of Ash's travel in Unova, and more. And I like Dawn too.

I never got all the Dawn hate. Yes, her voice actress took a bit to get into the role, and that made her utterly grating starting out. Otherwise... She's the only female lead thus far who is neither a Gym Leader nor a Leader's kid. She's just the kid of one person who happened to win an annual contest once, and has realistic goals and knowledge as a result, as well as realistic dissonance between knowledge and experience and realistic failings to go with it.
Yes. Clearly a terrible character..

@trupokemon, I have to agree with you, Because I too Absloutly Love It, and i never, evver miss an episode, I just loved it ever since it debuted, and I think that The New One (Pokemon: Black and White) is Awesome, and Also I think that Iris is Cool, and Askew is so cute, and also, Cilan is, a Great Cook, he can beat Brock's Cooking, Anytime.

@corelmoo Probably the closest they could get. As for Iris-san (Iris), she seems to be a little like Misty at the start ("You're such a kid!" vs. "YOU STILL OWE ME A NEW BIKE!)

the people like me you're referring to don't. I have to agree with you a little about Dawn, though. And yes, I still do follow Ash through Unova, because I'm giving him and the show, and my fun a second chance. Hope this answers your question.

@ROBLOXRoleplay I agree, but I think May was even worse. She got herself a Bulbasaur and Squirtle (COPYCAT!) who F***CKIN EVOLVED! And she was clueless. But Dawn, SHE stole Aipom from Ash and used it in her silly contests (not to mention evolving it). But overall, this intro is the only good one since season 1 and season 4.
