I actually saw the remake before the original. Before I get into this, I just want to make it clear that I love this song. I think the original's plot is somewhat better, however I like the characters more in the remake and the fact that his mother died, giving him a reason to fight the dance ban.

Dont try to remake EPIC FILMS like this, cause' always the original was better, and the people will be very upset with the differences between the original and the remake. This remakes is not bad, but is no perfect,

You know what, people need to stop moaning and groaning about this original, 'classic' and modern crap. Sure everybody's entitled to there opinion, but seriously, get a life and stop cruising the internet, commenting on songs you have no interested in. If you don't like it, don't listen, that's all I'm saying.
And I love the original, brilliant, but I like this version too. I don't care to be honest.
