Lane Kiffin recently had a press credential taken away from an LA sports reporter for reporting on USC injuries. In this video, the question that was muted had to do with an injury to a player. This got him really pissed and he stormed off. Essentially, he has put in much stricter rules regarding the coverage of his team, mainly because he is an insecure control freak (like most coaches are).

Petrino left with a 66% winning percentage and Houston Nutt left with a 62% winning percentage. Do we think that is that much of an improvement? Mind you Nutt had a better conference winning percentage than Petrino did. I'm thinking having Wilson made Petrino look better than he probably his. But I wouldn't have a problem seeing him at UT one bit.

You haven't watched a lot of Arkansas football pre Petrino have you? Basically what Arkansas is doing this year is what they usually do. Petrino basically worked a miracle to get Arkansas to a BCS bowl. At a place like Tennessee with much more tradition and history and top 10 wins and accomplishments, there is a much higher ceiling for him. Study say the past 10 or so years of Arkansas football. They are the poster child for coaching being more important that talent.

Well seeing the success that Arkansas had with Petrino and one of the nation's top QBs (and they weren't on probation), I'd still give the edge to USC. Especially with USC having an easier road to recruiting than Tennessee. Kiffin can grab up West Coast kids without having to contend with Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, etc. If Tennessee were to grab up Petrino, I'll be LAUGHING uncontrollably. It's like grasping for straws. Didn't Petrino lose to Florida while at Arkansas too?

You guys are idiots. You don't know why he left. It makes him a bad person because he cut the media short? Is there a rule that says he has to answer these questions? Chip Kelly keeps his practices CLOSED & gives even less than Kiffin does, yet Kiffin's the bad guy.
