Delaware Memorial Bridge

Crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge from Delaware into New Jersey. The bridge is four lanes wide and has a $3 toll southbound only. Traffic was rolling right along in spite of the 50MPH Speed Limit which most people generally ignore except when the cops are swarming.

The one thing I appreciate since moving to TX is that we don't have many toll roads here but they charge half of that to travel the 161 road. I think it is about half of the that $4 toll to go less than 12 miles. I don't use that road unless I need to. Although I have to say I miss Delaware in every way. They have a ton of interstates compared to the the one true interstate DE had. That fact doesn't help TX move any quicker.

@Dracodan93 I think the $4 toll is only southbound. Yeah, with 1 now, there are a lot of tolls. Of course they also suck a lot of money out of people with the cops, red light cameras and slot machines.

@sillyduckiehXD for the last 7 years I drove through Delaware about every other week. Can't say as I miss it much. Other than the old people with the funny looking black tags blocking the left lane, Delaware ain't bad.
