John Fogerty became an ego maniac and a very selfish person. I will always love his music but would not spend a penny on his post credence music.

@bronsonski52 There's no doubt there was an unnecessary amount of emotion involved in the whole argument. Mardi Gras was recorded without Tom, and John wanted everyone two write their own part. John refused to do more than second guitar for the songs they wrote.
I don't think it's fair to just blame John. A lot of personal things happened with the band. I think it's beyond a reasonable argument, it's too emotional.

You need to remember that John was backstabbed by his former bandmembers in a lawsuit from their old record company. I believe that hurt John very deep.

@Tennessee512 -Yes,first they said he died of tb. Now they say from aids due to a bad blood transfusion. His brother john would not attend his funeral. Now john does not want to give credit to his three fellow members of ccr for any of ccr's music saying it was all of his doing. Reminds me of Tom's song "the me song". Needless to say I am not a big fan of john anymore. All the crying he did about SZ-and he did the same to his group.
