It's a 1961 Les Paul (yes, the SG was the 2nd Les Paul model that Les never approved and Gibson made anyway) JUNIOR that has been converted with the neck pickup and humbuckers, etc. The tuners are still from the Junior.
I've played it a few times. HUGE NECK.

It's a classic SG. SG's where originally a Les Paul model prior to the 1960's.

@cybercop112 When the SG was originally released they meant for it to be a new improved version of the les paul, so that's what they called it. So people freaked, they got the old lp back, but other people liked the way the new one looked too. So they released it calling it the sg.

@cybercop112 SG's used to be called the Les Paul 2, but Les Paul didn't approve and had the name removed. This guitar is probably a reissue from before they were called SGs
