  • @optimatus The Patriarch seems to be a heretic who is not respected by Orthodox world and even his monks around Greece...

  • @3SRBIJACCCC The Patriarch seem to be less closed-minded.

  • @karitsischannel When i have spare time, i promise to interpret for all who are interested the 75th canon of 5th-6th Ecumenical Synod, because is very important, but does not impose any penalty to anyone infringes it. Maybe the Holy Fathers wanted only to determine the style which must characterise the mode of chanting in churches.Anyway, byzantine or polyphonic music are both acceptable if the chanters or the choristers perform them modestly and humbly in the spirit of quality.

  • @karitsischannel The pipe organ is an ancient greek invention which was improved and upgraded in Byzantium. The Emperor Konstantine 5th (called"Kopronymus") donated this to the King of France Pipinus (called" the short").Then Emperor Charles the Great (Carlomagnus) imposed the usage of the pipe organ in the Western-european Christian Churches.

  • I don't like the music.

  • The music in Orthodox worship is not an end in itself but constitutes the mean which guides our souls from the world to the heaven. The only matter is, any kind of music we are going to use,to be qualitative and solemn. If you study thoroughly what 75th canon of 5th-6th Ecumenical Synod commands and how Aristinos, Balsamon, Theodore Stoudites and other holy fathers interpret it, you may understand that is addressed to the byzantine chanters of that time. So,let us pray sincerely to save our souls.

  • This is heresy ,never unite with Catholics ,Ecumenism is product of New World Order, this Patriarch is free Mason ,We have similar problem in Serbia ! Long live true Orthodoxy !

  • This is not orthodox with organs in the church. I hope God will forgive all of us for this blasphemy.

  • Organ or not, I don't think that's essential. Essential is the faith, not the use of an instrument.

  • Não sei se a terra subiu aos céus, ou se foram os céus que desceram à terra. Belíssima!
