  • This song reminds me of my brother, who served in Viet Nam. Before he left, he had a great and funny personality, but came back very serious for a long time. He said we would not believe the things he saw. I thank God he came back alive and well. GOD BLESS ALL!

  • sept.19,1967,left for fort cambell,ky.this is where it all started for me,taken off the streets of milwaukee,wi put in a olive drab uniform, trained to be a soilder, they dont know it but they trained me to make it back home.i did a year in vietnam,no short a whole yr.but i dont know how many times i played this song with my girl back then before i left, but i thank God i found this song again 44yrs later,i'm now 63 and still here loving the old school memories.

  • March 2012 leaving to Camp Pendleton 2 get my chance at earning the title of Marine OORAAH!
