@TheBellspalsychannel Sorry, if I came across sounding negative but I'd admit that it DOESN'T totally become easier as I age. Unlike you, not once I've seen/known anybody that has or has been afflicted with BP except for seeing others on Youtube so I'm always feeling alone cos nobody can relate to me. Surely, there are times when I DON'T think about it but often I'm reminded that BP is alive and with me. I can't look competent during arguments cos I break down n cry uncontrollably! :(((

I have BP for 20 years and still need something to full recovery especially my mouth

I'm starting my 6th week of my 2nd bout with BP. I believe I only had it 3 weeks tops the first time around. Has anyone used these vitamins & had a successful recovery? If so, please post your experience with them! Thank you =)

Im 18 years old and Ilways known there was something kind of fucked up with me since i was a kid. After a bad accident to the face on my back my nerves never felt the same. My face was fine but i always had a little twich and seconds of "episodes" of partial paralysis of one side of my face. hopefully there is still time for me to fix this but I pray for every one else who has suffered from the same thing. This disorder inhibits us to portray our inner selves in an outward manner.

@hotcommentator humans are all beautiful so dont ever think that about yourself, i got diagnosed with it two days ago and the best cure for any illness no matter how serious or long you have had it is happiness, just keep the faith. God bless you
I first diagnosed when I was 151/2 years old and never healed since ( I am now 47). The more I age the more visible it is (cameras don't lie ) - have tried all except for surgery which would cost me $20 000 - $35 000 n got no fund for it. Keep wishing to hit a jackpot! I tried all the supplements mentioned but nothing changed - not even the feeling of feeling "light"
I keep praying that no one should experience this cos it's totally ruins one self-esteem no matter how strong the person is!

@JIssenmann Over the years I have spoken literally with hundreds of people who have suffered with or are struggling with the affects of BP, myself being one of them, and I do not understand why some people have to be negative. There are certainly many people in life with worse afflictions than we have, I recently met a young man who had his arm and legs blown off in Afghanistan and he was very upbeat and positive, and no matter what he will never get his limbs back. So be strong!

I've had it since I was 35 and I'm 53 now. I still have 60% of it and never fully recovered. Depressing, I'm ugly and older on one side of my face now. Only a face-lift will help.

@hotcommentator Hey, don't do that to yourself. You are viewing yourself from the outside and what you look like. Me I too have the horrible thing and it's not nice but I am told by my friends and family I have a good heart and that means a lot to me. I stopped criticising myself and looking in the mirror and condemning myself, I love life and that's all that matters, I have lots to keep me busy and you shouldn't be condemning yourself that way. Be strong!

@cochito74 Hi there, there are a lot of people suffering with BP from early childhood, some from infections and others from knocks and bumps, like yourself. There are lots of different treatment that can be sort to address the facial nerve weakness, I am still having treatments (2 years now) and have some improvement, about 80% I would say. To read you had contemplated suicide, you'd be amazed at the amount who do consider it, but those afflicted usually turn out to be so strongest of them all.
